And for some reason it wont hold a connection with the dorms network (Camden), which doesnt make sense because when I connect my laptop directly to Camden, it works just fine. But when I connect my router it just keeps rebooting, as if I keep turning it off and turning it back on. As soon as it completes its start up process it cuts off and starts over again. And Ive had it where the router is connected to Camden and my laptop is hard lined connected to the router, and my laptop cant connect. So I know something is wrong with the router and not my laptop or Camden (at least thats what I think). I dont know what changed from this year, because it worked just fine last year. But as soon as I try to get my iTouch to access its wifi and actually do something (ex: search Google) the router will drop its connection and do the whole rebooting thing again. Theres only one Ethernet port in my dorm and the cable tangles up on everything. And it makes the use of my other wireless stuff impossible. I think he meant connecting your computer to a LAN port of the router with an ethernet cable. Now it may be that your router has developed a defect, but you can try the Netgear Firmware Recovery Tool thats on the CD that came with the router. And I mentioned in the original post that plugging into the LAN port on the router doesnt do anything, my laptop still cant connect.
